About Studio Mimi
My Story
My name is Emilia and I started Studio Mimi with the aim to continue my love of fashion after my degree. I studied Fashion Design at University of Salford but I have loved fashion since I was little. But my love of fashion conflicts my love for nature and I hate seeing how fashion is destroying the planet. I wanted to create a place where people can bring their well loved clothes and I can give them a new lease of life. As well as recreating your favourite details from your much loved clothing and transforming them into something new.

No, it depends on each individual garment and your order size. The larger or more complex the alteration, the more it will cost. The amounts on the price list are a starting price but this may increase depending on the garment requirements. I try my best to have affordable prices!
Yes, I offer custom designs for clients who want unique and personalised garments. Please get in touch for more information and I can create a design package for you. If you like one of my designs but want it in a different colour or size, please let me know.
I aim to have alterations done within 5 working days but this is dependent on the individual garment and for custom designs it varies based on the design. I will be able to give you an estimated timeframe on enquiry.
I am based in the Cookridge area so I am able to arrange collection and delivery within the local area. For anywhere further away I would need to arrange delivery or a time for you to drop it off at my studio. I will try and make it as easy and convenient for you as possible!
